Crescent City Harbor Arts Coast Redwood Art Association

Art has always been my go-to Zen setting.

Can’t remember a time as a kid, when I was without some form of implement to make a mark upon paper, into clay, sand or dirt be it pen, pencil, crayon, paint brush or a found piece of broken plaster-board chalk for which to draw gigantic spirals on the driveway to play hop scotch.

Little formal art training past high school.  I gained much of my skills and experience through  volunteering my artistic skills to non-profit organizations to gain experience and avoid stagnation.

When the grandchildren arrived I developed several children’s websites and filled them with unique educational illustrations for them to color or cut and assemble.

I discovered Cellu-Clay, a paper mache’ pulp that resembles clay and dries hard as rocks and founded Karma Carriers to sell and display figurines and ornaments such as sea turtles, gingerbread zombies and other, colorful and whimsical stuff.

Recently purchased a Glowforge Laser printer which is proving a  quite enjoyable endeavor.  This printer allows me to resurrect many of the childcraft illustrations to apply into wood cut ornaments.

Author and illustrator:  publications Hello Bigfoot Colorbook and Critical Bigfoot Theory.

I enjoy volunteering and helping others succeed
