Deborah Ann Dawson is a native Oregonian, born in the Rogue Valley in 1955. She knew she was going to be an artist from a very early age. Nature has always been her inspiration, flowers and trees, rivers and rocks.
Watercolor became her passion in the 80’s. With a degree in Art, she found herself raising her son alone and quickly realized watercolors to be the perfect medium. She decided to focus on one medium because she wanted to put her energy into one thing and really excel.
Deborah has been teaching since the 80’s. in 2001 she moved to the Illinois Valley and opened a teaching studio and gallery for her work. Many individuals collect her paintings for which she both blessed and grateful.
